I am a born and raised Texan and a veteran educator of almost 30 years, all within the North East Independent School District (NEISD) in San Antonio. I was the principal of three very different schools, ranging from 10% to over 90% economically disadvantaged, granting me the privilege and opportunity to lead schools through navigating an enormous variety of victories and challenges. I am appreciative of NEISD and the many employees who helped me throughout my years working for the district.
I have a passion for teaching and empowering others while creating a productive, safe, and meaningful environment where students can learn to the best of their ability. My specialty is in developing systems to improve instruction, morale, and community involvement. I strive to inspire other leaders to be and do better.
